These are the details listed in the stay-at-home order:
To obtain necessary supplies (namely beer). A person may leave his or her place of residence to obtain the following supplies for himself or herself, for other household members, including pets (yes, officer..I do happen to have a dog who drinks one beer, but only one per hour), or for a loved one or friend who cannot or should not leave home or cannot care for himself or herself: (yes, officer, neither me nor she cannot possibly care for herself either, without a proper (gallon of) beer..)
(i) Food and other consumer goods necessary to maintain a person’s daily routine or to maintain the safety, sanitation, and routine operation of a home or residence; (yes sir officer, beer is considered a food source in germany, and a regularly steady part of me and the misses regular american every day routine, scout’s honor)
(ii) Supplies needed to work from home; (yes officer, I must indeed have a certain amount of beer in order to be productive, especially while under lockdown)
(iii) Pharmaceutical prescriptions or other medical supplies; (beer, once again officer)
(iv) Fuel for automobiles or other vehicles or other vehicle supplies; (yes officer, uhh..well, define ‘fuel’, in terms of beer deficiency and lack of peddling persistency [points at pedals on trike] ; )
(v) Materials for distance learning or other education-related purposes (officer, honest, I was just trying to figure out exactly how to pick up a 12-pack of beer w/out possibly getting arrested); and (beer for thought), and:
(vi) Any other supplies necessary to maintain a person’s or pet’s daily routine or to maintain the safety, sanitation, and routine operation of a home or residence. (yep, you simply guessed it correctly once again..good ol’ vitamin ‘b’..beer ; )
